Microsoft is set to hit Gamescom hard this week. Following its rather respectable, all games, all the time, turnaround at E3, the stage is wide open for the house of Xbox to cement a new, exciting future for the once-flailing Xbone. And there's every chance it will. Andy is certainly convinced. With a full-scale press conference scheduled for Tuesday the 12th of August at 1pm BST/5am PST, and hands-on time immediately afterward, it looks like we're heading for another jubilant game-fest. Literally. Myself and Justin are flying over to Cologne for the event in the morning.
What can we expect? Bigger, deeper looks at all the big games announced at E3 (so the likes of Sunset Overdrive, Scalebound, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are almost a given), and we also know that we'll be getting the first, real, meaty reveal of Quantum Break, the brand new game from Max Payne and Alan Wake developer Remedy. Exciting? Oh hell yes it is. So you'll be wanting to see all that goodness go down right as it happens. Where can you do that? Right here. Make sure to check back at the fabled hour (yeah, Fable will probably be there too), and watch it all through the player on this very page.
