Everything coming to Dead by Daylight in the DBD roadmap 2026
A new DBD roadmap was shared during the game's massive tenth anniversary celebrations, and there's a lot of cool stuff on the way
In what is quite possibly the most stacked DBD roadmap to date, the game's 11th year has so much in store, with a lot of it announced during the tenth anniversary celebrations, and much more still to come.
Through the rest of 2026 and into 2027, there are new licensed crossovers, fantastic new events, stunning new Rifts, and even a new map, all of which I'm super stoked for. If you are too, here's all that and everything else revealed in the latest DBD roadmap.
DBD roadmap 2026
I mean, just look at it!! The roadmap above takes us all the way through to April 2027, and features an incredible amount of content. Let me break it down for you:
- June 2026
- New original survivor, Shane Wiigwaas
- The Black Banquet anniversary event
- Ice Nine Kills collab
- July 2026
- Sunflesh Rift
- Limited time modes

- September 2026
- 2v8 returns!
- October 2026

- January 2027
- New Rift
- March 2027
- The Casting of Frank Stone finally comes to DBD
- April 2027
- A new survivor enters the Fog
- and beyond!
- Graphical update!
- More INK!
- DBD in real life!
- More Silent Hill!
Just look at that jam-packed line up! Aside from the obvious things, like the Scooby-Doo and INK collaborations and Frank Stone finally coming home, I'm particularly excited about the graphical update coming in the future. Sadly, this isn't included in the roadmap as it's over a year away, but some details were revealed during the tenth anniversary broadcast and it looks amazing. Especially that dynamic weather.
Another high point for the future of DBD falls in December this year, when a long-awaited new original map arrives: The Mall! This has been a fan-requested map destination for a long time, and we're finally seeing it come to fruition, along with some much-needed Dwight lore.
Then, there's the events and modes we love to see year after year. DBD 2v8 returns in September, with Haunted by Daylight coming back for Halloween and Bone Chill returning in December. The new anniversary event, The Black Banquet, also looks amazing, and might help us recover from the tragic loss of Trixie.
With all that and more coming to Dead by Daylight, keep an eye on GamesRadar+ for the latest details! And don't forget to check out my list of the latest DBD codes for free cosmetics and Bloodpoints.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
