Strange but true. Stars of TV, stage and screen have been getting out the glitter and sequins this Christmas to make festive cards to raise money for people affected by meningitis.
Paul O‘Grady, Corrie’s Anthony Cotton and Eastender June Brown are just some of the celebrities that have been rolling up their sleeves to create one-off signed Christmas cards that will be auctioned off to raise money for the Stroud-based charity, the Meningitis Trust. What makes this SFXy? They've only got bloomin' Gandalf signed up as well!
The charity, which is currently celebrating its 21st anniversary, has teamed up with a new sister title to SFX (called You Can Craft magazine) to raise much needed funds for the charity which supports people whose lives have been turned upside down by the disease.
