Hiro returns in full trailer for Heroes Reborn

After issuing a slew of speculative teasers, NBC has debuted the first full-length trailer for its series revival Heroes Reborn. This newest tease gives a sneak peek at the return of a bunch of fan favorites; former geek-turned-trained swordsman Hiro (Masi Oka) and the ass-kicking Horn-Rimmed Glasses (Jack Coleman) to name but two.

As for the newcomers, Zachary Levi's mysterious and brooding Luke looks to be fulfilling the villainous-shaped hole left by Zachary Quinto's Skylar (he won't be returning), with the remainder all set to save the world once more. But from what? Check out the new action-packed trailer, then school up on the story with the new synopsis below:

"A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated," reads the rundown. "Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives.

Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, “Chuck”) and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss.

Noah Bennet, aka H.R.G. (Jack Coleman, “Heroes”), has gone off the grid but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski, “A to Z”) finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy."

The 13-episode season of Heroes Reborn starts in the US on September 24.
