Concept Art For Riddick 3

Vin Diesel posts a preproduction sketch for a test SF sequence from the third Chronicles Of Riddick film

Vin Diesel has posted a piece of concept artwork by Patrick Tatopoulos for the third Chronicles Of Riddick film on his Facebook page. He comments: “Early Riddick concept art... first frame of a 2D Motion Choreography Study. Grrrr... The Furian... left for dead...”

Tatopoulos has woerked as a creature designer on many, many SF and fantasy films, including the first two Riddick films, Independence Day , Solomon Kane and Godzilla , and also directed Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans , having worked on the FX for the first two Underworld films.

The third Riddick film will see the photophobic crim left for dead on a barren alien planet, dealing with trisons (three-legged bisons), mud demons and two squads of bounty hunters. The film is once again written and directed by David Twohy, who promises a return to the style of the first film.
