SHIELD TV Pilot Could Start Filming As Early As January

This is one of those stories where pretty much the whole story is in the headline. According to a tweet by Variety journo Marc Graser , Joss Whedon ’s SHIELD TV series starts shooting in January.

We have no reason to doubt the guy, and he certainly seems to be in a position to know, but it’s a pleasant surprise considering only two cast members have been confirmed do far: Ming-Na Wen has as Agent Melinda May and Clark Gregg reprising his role as Agent Phil Coulson.

If the pilot does shoot in January and network ABC gives it the thumbs up, this means we could possibly see a SHIELD series debut on US TV as early as Autumn 2013.
