Dolphins sing the Batman theme. Or rather, they don't...

We're a little late in catching up with this exciting development, but apparently some American scientists have been teaching dolphins to sing the theme tune to the Batman TV show whenever they're shown a Batman doll (in return for a reward).

Except... all the dolphins actually do is make a "short/long" noise like the "Bat-maaaaaan!" bit in the theme tune.

That's rubbish! Our ex-news editor Steve O'Brien has a smaller brain than a dolphin, but he can yawn the middle eight of the Doctor Who theme tune - and we don't even have to throw him a herring as a reward!

So I say: at the very least, these blokes in white coats should withhold grub until the lazy sods can do the whole "dinner dinner dinner dinner" bit.
