Pierce Brosnan and Annabeth Gish to stars in four-hour TV adaptation
The mini series will star former James Bond Pierce Brosnan and Annabeth Gish, who played Mnica Reyes in latter seasons of The X-Files . It’s due to air in the US later this year.
Published in 1998, Bag Of Bones is about (surprise, surprise) an author, Mike Noonan, who buries himself in his work after the death of his wife. When he starts having nightmares about his lakeside summerhouse in (surprise, surprise) Maine, he decides to move there to confront his fears. In doing so he becomes involved in a custody battle between the daughter of an attractive young widow and the child’s enormously wealthy grandfather, all the while experiencing mysterious ghostly visitations, ever-escalating nightmares and the realisation that his late wife still has something to tell him.
