Leonard Nimoy does a William Shatner impression

Hero Complex interviews Leonard Nimoy at home, in which the Star Trek legend recalls Kirk's eulogy for Spock in The Wrath Of Khan

Geoff Boucher of the Los Angeles Times interviewed Leonard Nimoy at home recently. The Spock and Fringe actor talked about playing Sherlock Holmes on stage, Star Trek scripts, typecasting, watching Star Wars for the first time ("I thought: I'm going to be getting a call from Paramount pretty soon!"), JJ Abrams and more. He even gets talked into doing an impression of William Shatner's speech from the end of Star Trek II .

Boucher has been writing for the Los Angeles Times for 21 years and his love of comics and sci-fi inspired a blog that has now become a film festival, a magazine, regular YouTube broadcasts and more.

You can read an interview with Leonard Nimoy in issue 224 of SFX , on sale in June. The latest issue of SFX , including Fringe reviews, hits newsstands next week .
