First teaser lands for Fargo season 2

The first teaser trailer has appeared online for the second season of Fargo, and very enigmatic it is too. Don’t expect to see any characters revealed here… this one is all about mood!

Giving away precisely zero in terms of plot details, the new teaser simply shows a woodpecker going about his business in the snowy climes of Minnesota, stopping only to acknowledge some distant gunfire. Seems like a promise things are going to be just as violent on our second visit to Fargo…

Take a look at the new teaser, below…

The new series will be set prior to the first run, with the action jumping back to the 1970s and focusing on a young Lou Solverson, Keith Carradine’s character in the first series played here by Patrick Wilson. Remember the violent events he kept alluding to last time out? Well that’s what we’ll be dealing with here.

Wilson will be joined by an all-star cast including Kirsten Dunst, Kieran Culkin, Ted Danson, Brad Garrett, Nick Offerman, Jesse Plemons, Bokeem Woodbine and Bruce Campbell. Fargo season 2 is expected to air in September 2015.
