The Secret Circle may have been swiftly axed, but one of its actresses is making the move to exec producer Kevin Williamson’s other (more successful) show, The Vampire Diaries .
Phoebe Tonkin, who as bitch-witch Faye in The Secret Circle camped things up outrageously while all about her sleepwalked through their roles, will turn in season four of the vampire show as Tyler’s friend Hayley, who is described as wild, sexy and free-spirited, reports TVLine .
“We’ll start to understand that this is a friend … who’s been very important to him in the past,” executive producer Julie Plec tells the site, hinting that she could cause trouble for Tylor and Caroline: “Any time a hot, new girl comes to town, somebody’s got to be worried about something.”
