Entire Cast Returning For Community Season Four

A small piece of cool, cool, cool news in the wake of creator Dan Harmon’s dishonourable discharge as showrunner of the superlative Community : it’s been confirmed that the entire Greendale gang will be returning for season four in the autumn.

This includes Chevy Chase, whose future on the show seemed uncertain in recent months after a very public spat with Harmon; and Donald Glover, who has been the source of speculation since his name was left off a list of cast members appearing on the Community panel at Comic Con next month.

Jim Rash and Ken Jeong will also be back when new showrunners David Guarascio and Moses Port take over in the autumn. Community was recently the deserved winner of the Best Comedy award at the Critics Choice TV Awards.

This is of course, very good news, but before you start crab-walking around the office/home remember there’s a possibility a fourth season appearance was part of at least some cast members’ contracts. Many of the cast have shown public support for Harmon after his dismissal from the show, and it remains to be seen whether Guarascio and Port will be able to recapture Harmon’s magic touch.
