Torchwood Budget Triples For America

They can even afford a helicopter now apparently

“There is so much more we can do with Torchwood now having made the leap to America. It’s going to be even bigger and better,” adds star John Barrowman. “And for me on a personal level the move to America has been f**king amazing.”

He’s certainly benefiting from a new RAF coat, made of lighter material and with a slimmer cut, redesigned to account for the fact that they’re now filming in sunnier climes than South Wales a lot of the time.

According to the article, “the stunts are more dangerous and the sexual chemistry is more explosive”, and they’ve even managed to hire to helicopter. “The audience is going to need a forklift truck to pick their jaws off the ground,” says Barrowman. “The stunt work is unbelievable. I used to do quite a lot of stunts except if it was jumping off of buildings but now I’m not allowed to because of the insurance policy. I’m much more valuable in America!”

He also promises that Jack’s infamous libido won’t be toned down… too much: “Jack will have his little dabblings and the audience will get exactly what they want… And I had a lot of fun doing it!” Finally, he promises: “We’ve going to be bigger than cult, now it’s about world domination.”
