Battlefield 1 doesn't need any photorealism mods to make its environments look both believable and fantastical; just an option to disable the HUD and hide the first-person weapon (a high-powered PC doesn't hurt, either). Accomplished in-game photographer berdu came back from an EA preview event with a modestly sized art gallery's worth of beautiful stills.
The 4K images come from the from the Argonne, Monte Grappa, and Empire's Edge maps. Berdu says no special in-game magic was needed to make them look this nice:
