The first batch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC was revealed by promotional material prior to its official announcement, and now the game’s second add-on may have been too. The promotional card above was allegedly spotted at a Best Buy store, seemingly revealing that the ‘Uprising’ DLC pack will launch on Xbox Live on April 16.
If accurate, the next Black Ops 2 DLC will introduce four new multiplayer maps (Vertigo, Magma, Encore and Studio) plus a fresh Zombies mode called Mob of the Dead. Activision declined to comment when contacted about its upcoming DLC plans for the shooter, but it said previously that it has four game add-ons planned in total and the last one was released back in January, so the timing feels right.
MP1ST speculates that Mob of the Dead may act as a follow-up to the original Black Ops' Call of the Dead Zombies DLC, which starred Hollywood talent George Romero, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo, while Vertigo was apparently the name of a discarded Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map that featured similarities to the same game’s rooftop-based offering Highrise.
