The great thing about videogames is that they operate within their own realities. Think about it. Infamous tasks you with shocking adversaries to death, yet you can’t even jump over chain-link fences. At the same time, Gears of War assumes every man weighs half a ton, but can pull off the most graceful somersaults. But real life is boringly consistent. Where are the bionic arms? The plasma rifles? THE LIGHTSABERS?
However, the confines of a videogame can make for frustrating gameplay (see the above example about scaling fences). But what would happen if the game world and the real world COMBINED? Or rather, if the conventions and clichés that only happen in these virtual worlds invaded a world with consistent physics and dimensions? There’d be disastrous results, dear reader! So horrendous to explain, we made a video instead. So take your eyes off these words and play the video below.
