SPONSORED: Watch Lara go from survival to survivor

Shipwrecked on an island off the coast of Japan, Lara Croft began armed with nothing more than her wits and will to live. Forced to forage for food and defend herself from hostile natives, Lara is forever changed when her friends are captured and she realizes she is the only one who can save them. Pushed to the limits of human fortitude, Lara knows that if she doesn't survive, none of them will. Watch Lara transition from "survival" to "Survivor" in our new trailer.

Trailer was very good. The tag is not that hard to understand. Survival. Fending for yourself in the woods. Scared. Not knowing what to do, just wanting to live. Survivor. Taking charge. Overcoming obstacles and becoming something more then what you were. Its not rocket science, people.

My guess would be they're referring to being in the midst of a fight for "survival", and overcoming that struggle (at the end of the game) and being a "survivor" of the ordeal. But, it's an incredibly ham-fisted way of saying it.

So true - Go from survival to survivor? Sounds like they're trying a little too hard to sound cool and gritty when anyone with a decent command of the English language would laugh at the absurdity of it. Was English the second language of the head of the PR department?

Amazing how things go around. Uncharted takes tomb raider and improves it, Tomb raider takes from Uncharted and copies it down to a T.

"From "survival" to "Survivor""... Are they even trying to make sense?

Lol, I'm glad you said something because I read that sentence repeatedly trying to make some sense of it.. Her name was also spelled "L-a-u-r-a" in the sub heading so I shouldn't have read into it too much. She is only an iconic video game hero like Mareyo and Pack-man.
