RadarPlays - Fire Emblem: Awakening

Our Fire Emblem: Awakening review called the game "the best RPG on the Nintendo 3DS to date," so of course we were going to sit down and do a RadarPlays for it. Interested to see what the game looks like in action? Still on the fence about the tactical RPG? Look no further than the video below, where all of your answers will be answered.

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Mondays we'll be checking out blasts from the past, Wednesdays (and sometimes Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on the week) is reserved for new releases, and Friday is packed with the strangest titles you’ve never (hopefully) heard of.

Hey guys. Just because a developers doesn't shoehorn in gay marriage into a game that allows matrimony doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them. These characters have distinctive personality and traits and just making anyone of them spontaneously homosexual when you want them to marry doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Perhaps they should have created several characters who were known to be homosexual. Be open minded enough to know there doesn't always have to be gay characters in everything, and that can be okay too.

I have to agree, bemoaning that a game doesn't have gay love interests is just as bad as bemoaning a game that does have them. Like you guys loved to preach regarding the ME3 ending, isn't the Developer's vision that you'd have to respect anyway?

Love these RadarPlays, keep em up. I miss that they're no longer called FAPs but oh well, good content is good regardless of the name.

...please stop saying Falchions wrong. The ch makes a sh sound.

Well, to be fair, not everyone would know that... At least I sure as hell didn't. More bothersome to me was the fact that they called the Khans "falchions", obviously not understadnding that the title "two falchions" was referring to the swords from Marth and Chrom. XD Then again Lucas and Hollander probably haven't even touched the game before, and Henry seemed to have just started, which is why I didn't mention it in my first post.

Thank you! I have no idea why anyone who has a basic understanding of how English works doesnt reason how to say that. First time I read it I said "falcons" then immediately realized thats not spelled in anyway where you would say that.

Sweet! very fun to watch, and you guys did a nice job in showing a lot of what the game has to offer, so hopefully this will serve to inform and attract people taht are still in the fence about it. That being said- I take heavy offense about Henry dissing the old Fire Emblem Sprites, those were a thing of beauty... Unless he's referring to the sprites in Shadow Dragon, in which case, yes, those are ugly as hell.
