Injustice launch trailer does horrible things to Green Arrow

Injustice: Gods Among Us breaks just about every bone in Green Arrow's body in this launch trailer. Seriously--Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and the rest both dish and receive superpowered beatings in the latest from Mortal Kombat studio NetherRealm, except for the assailed archer.

If you lost count, Green Arrow was hit by a train, smashed with a chunk of concrete, bludgeoned with a morning star, and broken over Bane's knee in a little over a minute of footage. Maybe the poor guy will get his revenge when the game releases on PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on April 16.

Check out our Injustice: Gods Among Us roster to see who else will suffer some superpowered spinal disc herniation.

Poor Ollie. It isn't easy being green...

You guys made it sound like Green Arrow was at the end of every single attack in the trailer, but it really wasn't, honestly, if you guys hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed any special kind of once sided punishment in the trailer, I mean, the Flash also gets his ass handed to him very nastily as well, and by aquaman, no less. Anyway, game looks pretty brutal and fun! Though while not really a bad thing, I CAN tell that this was made using the exact same engine of MK9, lots of the animations (such as when they are dizzy) look exactly the same. But yes, even though I don't care about 90% of the DC characters, I'm definitely looking forward to at the very least renting it.

Yeahhh GR! First you get mad at Revengence and now you have a misleading title that in no easy alters the content of the trailer or the average viewer's perception of the action?? For shame. For shame.

Is it weird that I'm most interested in this game for the story? Also, is that Phil LeMarr as Aquaman?
