Alright, we’re going to be honest with you: we have some bad
news for you. It’s not terrible news, but, well, it’s bad – at least for some people.
The PC version of Batman: Arkham City is being delayed from October to
November, so any PC gamers looking forward to cleaning up the streets of Gotham
are going to need to wait at least a few more weeks.
See? We warned you. But this sad story comes with some good news as well: that delay doesn’t extend to the console versions, which are still on track for October 18 in North America, October 19 in Australia, and October 21 in Europe. Rocksteady Studios and WBIE have released some new screenshots, too, to help ease the pain this delay might cause you.
The images show off a number of different elements from the soon-to-be released game, including some sleuthing, some combat, and some of Batman’s signature brooding over a cityscape. There’s also a higher-resolution image of the screenshot that went around last month of Batman fighting side-by-side with Bane, letting you enjoy every pixel of Bane’s big, bulging muscles.
