Whetting our appetite for some Wild West action still further (it's pretty 'whet' already to be honest) is this new trailer of Red Dead Redemption. It's called 'The Law' and shows you the thick end of the thin blue line in frontier times, Rockstar-style.

Our recent hands-on with the game showed its world to be one of the most bustling, convincing environments we've ever seen. And we can't wait to meet all these characters 'in person'.

@Samael Thanks, that clears that up, The rest of the weapons are from the mid-late 1800s (1860s-1880s)

@onewingedantista According to wikipedia (with a sourced link to back it up) it's set in 1908. This game just looks incredible. I really hope it sells well because I want more Western games.

Looking beter with every appearance! Another great game for 2010 and one that should be pretty damn big as well. Makes me wonder what they could do with a Westen style WRPG though-would even make a good MMO with people playing as soldiers, whores, natibve Amercans etc.

What year is this supposed to be? That agent is packing a Colt pistol, which wasn't even invented until the 1890s!
