Ride to Hell biker games coming in June
Retribution crosses on-foot brawling with road battles
The studio behind Nascar the Game: Inside Line is dropping stock cars and oval tracks for choppers and seedy dive bars. Three biker brawling games called Ride to Hell will arrive this summer from Eutechnyx and publisher Deep Silver, with Retribution headlining the trio on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on June 25 in North America and June 28 internationally.
Retribution stars biker Jake Conway, whose grindhouse quest for vengeance on a biker gang leads from barroom beatings to highway duels. We're not sure what Conway wants Retribution for, but judging by the trailer he's happy to kill anyone in leather or pasties alike who gets in the way of it.
Ride to Hell: Route 666 will focus solely on highway combat. Road ruffians can recruit and command a gang of their liking as they take over historic Route 66, using arcade combat and light tactics to give rivals a nasty case of road rash. Publisher Deep Silver made no mention of multiplayer battles for this downloadable title on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360--so, uh, sorry if that Road Rash wordplay got your hopes up.
Finally, Ride to Hell: Beatdown will be a "rock'n'roll brawler" for mobile devices at some point. The sleazy biker renaissance begins!
