Custom controllers can be a fun way to show off your personality or just set your console apart. But if you want something outside of "army camo" and "primary colors," you sometimes have to go searching. The Controller Shop has a solution however: an online "lab" where you can customize everything from the color and transparency of your thumbsticks to the decals on your handles.
The Controller Shop has been in operation for years, but they only recently opened their "Christmas lab," which offers a more limited range of customization options for discount pricing. With the shopping season closing in, now would be a good time to take a look.
Either way, there are a ton of options to choose from, with more than 100 trillion unique combinations across all configurations. Final appearances range from simple to classy to garish, and everything between. Take a look at the gallery above for some examples.
I personally have a thing for gray/silver gamepads, which is why I have the Spartan Locke controller for Xbox One, 20th Anniversary Edition DualShock 4, and silver monochrome Xbox 360 controller. But after playing around with the options here, I think I might go with something a little more… Lisa Frank. What do you think?
And just think: it'll only cost me $310 to order!
