Aeria Games has just launched the website for its upcoming free-play FPS Repulse, which seems like as good a time as any to share a teaser and screenshots of the title. Due to enter closed beta early next year, Repulse is still a ways from public release – but the game's already aiming to build its own brand of trick-jumping twitch-play.

The sci-fi shooter will look familiar to fans of developer Queen's Soft. In an earlier life, much of Repulse began as the open beta for a Queen's shooter by the name of Genesis AD. That game's hyperspeed deathmatches rewarded dedicated beta players, and it quickly built a devoted following of fans. Judging from the comments on videos Aeria has released so far, those fans are eager to re-enter the fray.

Having incorporated Genesis AD's best-recieved features into Repulse, Queen's Soft is working with Aeria on bringing the game to completion. The publisher boasts the new game will feature quick-change character classes, Havok physics and 16-player battles across nine different gameplay modes. Here's a few new shots of the title, whose is now taking signups for next year's closed beta.
