Just because Red 5's Firefall takes place in an inhospitable alien world, floating somewhere in virtual space, doesn't mean the game's characters can't flex their muscles here on Earth. Here's a clip of Lee Reherman (aka Gladiators' Hawk) and Crystal Graziano, who've been chosen by the company to represent the title's Typhon and Mourningstar in real-world events – complete with rockin' huge power-armor.

Hollywood FX artist Steve Wang, whose past work includes creature design on AvP: Requiem, designed the larger-than-life costumes and weaponry for Reherman and Graziano. They'll be appearing in full get-up for at least six convention appearances this year, as well as what Red 5 teasingly calls an “unannounced project aimed at bringing Firefall’srich sci-fi universe to life.” Meanwhile back in Firefall (the game), beta signups are still ongoing for the game's rollout later this year. In the meantime, check out our most recent hands-on preview.
