Ever been to Gallows End? It's a treacherous island populated with shadowy characters, and brimming with untold riches and undiscovered dangers. At least, that's how EA and 38 Studios describes the new stretch of land debuting in the forthcoming Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning DLC, The Legend of Dead Kel.

Arriving March 20, the Amalur expansion will introduce players to the mysterious Gallows End, an island said to add 15% more explorable territory and piratey goodness to the action RPG. The new zone will come crammed with additional side quests, fresh dungeons, and a wealth of new characters and enemies. On the practical side, The Legend of Dead Kel will also bestow eight new armor sets, eight new shields, three Twists of Fate, and 18 new fancily-named murdering tools (aka weapons).

If all that gear sounds like a lot to carry, rest assured the DLC will also feature a new estate called Gravehal Keep which, as the foreboding name hints, will provide players will a sizable estate comprised of numerous buildings, perks, and its own set of dark secrets.

The Legend of Dead Kel will retail for $9.99 on PlayStation Network, Steam, and Origin; 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
