The next downloadable content for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will star computerized canine LQ-48i, or Blade Wolf to friends. Konami today announced the content will hit Xbox 360 on May 14 and PlayStation 3 on May 15.

Players will see more of Blade Wolf's operations as part of Desperado Enforcement, prior to fighting and joining up with main character Raiden. Blade Wolf is a custom made killer robot--none of those squishy human parts Jack and Jetstream Sam had to worry about--so it has plenty of weaponry to saw through enemy legions and a new boss battle. Still has that "conscience" bug, though.

The Blade Wolf DLC will cost $7 or 560 Microsoft Points. Check out our RadarPlays of the Jetstream DLC to get a feel for Rising's expanded origin stories.

$7 for a single player story DLC? That's got to be one of the most reasonable price points I've seen in quite some time! Well, even if it is short, at least it is priced accordingly.
