Medal of Honor beta log-out screen is confusing, will probably melt your mind

It's a day for screenshot fails. Having just posted the image of a baseball player with tiny arms, the internet draws my attention to this impossibly cockeyed grab taken from the Medal of Honor beta:

I have my suspicions that EA has employed MC Escher to write its user notifications. Or Mr Miyagi.

Well at least its true, its not a frustrating mechanical failure, its just stating stone cold, undeniable fact. You physically cannot log out unless you are logged in, no? It would defy the laws of logic and reason if you could. Well done, Medal of Honour, you have enlightened us. I hereby present you with the medal of obvious.

Makes sense to me. Although I'm not sure why there would be a "log out" option if you're not logged in. Unless you are and it's not recognizing you are. Then that's a bug.

well it makes sense, you can't really log out unless you're logged in, otherwise you have no need to log out in the first place.

Good example of why I hate EA servers,Skate 3 kept logging me out even though I was still signed into PSN

well they have a sense of humour. y would you click logout if you havent logged in? just press exit.

this multiplayer beta of MoH is fucking annoying, sit for 30 mins trying to join a game while it says "unable to find any suitable servers"
