Sure it stinks employees can't enter, but video game magazine employees get more freebies than anyone. Free trips to E3, swag bags, demo disks, special edition games, free game consoles and more. All you have to do is do some competitive gaming at the offices for grabs.

What's this? Australians can't enter? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (etc, etc) Aww hell, who cares? We still got Oprah to eat a substance that can kill most living creatures at ten paces...

........ I hate things. If you can't see the form, shut off any ad-blockers. The form is picked up as an ad. You may commence laughing now.
  • gumbyx84 - January 27, 2011 12:34 p.m.

That pretty f-ed up GR. You hide the form so people can't find it. I just tired the "highlight" trick and it the form isn't there anymore. Either the form was removed because its the 27th or it doesn't show up in some browsers. What the hell?

  • KakashiDono - January 27, 2011 11:01 a.m.

    Why won't it submit?
  • MattCrinos - January 27, 2011 10:15 a.m.

It's a shame that non-US can't enter, as a UK resident... BUT I do think it's mighty fine of GR to do a give-away THIS AWESOME!!
  • Shamanix - January 27, 2011 8:46 a.m.

yeh am having trouble too just brings me back here!!!!
  • bmrskate - January 27, 2011 8:09 a.m.

Has anyone ever noticed that whenever GR has a contest it seems like thousands of people who never follow this site want to enter? People are greedy...(slightly hypocritical). Me, on the other hand, I've been checking out GR for news for a few years now...this is one of my favorite gaming sites! (YES the flattery) a completely bro-love kinda dot dot...would you be able to give back a little bit to your real readers and listeners? If it helps, I've never had a computer strong enough to run modern PC games. My current computer can only render a polygon or sprite as long as it's more than a decade old. I would love that Alienware like a Mass Effect sex scene, so don't get jealous...I will always love you just as much while I read your awesomeness through my new laptop! (For me?...)

This would help me out I just started my second year of college, and I am using a lot of stuff for photography and I need something fast, with a lot of memory and is portable for travel.
  • CH3BURASHKA - January 27, 2011 6:31 a.m.

@SomeOddGuy: if your laptop starts lagging consistently after a set amount of time, you might have a memory leak problem (or something like that). You should get your computer checked out, or at least look up your issues on the internet and look for solutions there.
  • Zepaw - January 27, 2011 6:30 a.m.

I would so change my non-PC gaming ways if I had one of those glowing wonders.
  • Killershadow117 - January 27, 2011 6:20 a.m.

    Yaba Daba Doo!
  • SomeOddGuy - January 27, 2011 5:53 a.m.

I REALLY hope(like everyone else here) that I win this sweepstakes, if not for just the laptop alone.(even though the collector's edition of the game seems interesting enough to want to add to my collection of random junk) I have been trying to play Super Meat Boy on my freaking laptop and have only been having limited success, even completely toned down as it starts to lag to hell after only 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! How am I suppose to beat Salt Factory on Dark World if the thing just wants to crap out after only a short bit? That's not going to help me on my deathless runs!
  • CH3BURASHKA - January 27, 2011 5:39 a.m.

I've ALWAYS thought that specifically "sweepstakes" were scams to get your contact info, that you'd never win. However, I'd enter my info just in case. Then one day, I got a copy of Arc Rise Fantasia from the GR Sweepstakes. So, I guess they're real. I've been considering investing in a PC at the end of the semester, and finally get a decent computer after rocking a netbook for the past 2 years. A gaming laptop isn't preferable, but it's a lot better than dropping a grand and a half. No whammy no whammy no whammy...
  • Mode - January 27, 2011 5:27 a.m. BE ABLE TO PLAY..SOMETHING OTHER THAN MINECRAFT..
