In the same conference call in which we learned South Park: The Game had been delayed, THQ mentioned that they are looking tosell offone of their upcoming titles, Devil's Third.
Developed by Valhalla Games, Devil's Third is to be the first game made by Tomonobu Itagaki since his high-profile departure from Tecmo in 2008. THQ said that Devil's Third's "profitability profile" no longer meets their "internal threshold" and they are in talks with third parties about selling it.
We're not sure what this means for THQ, but right now it doesn't sound like the best news for Devil's Third. The title may not be affected at all, but there's always a chance THQ wont be able to find a buyer. And if that happens, we may have a cancellation on our hands.
