There are a number of brilliantly nerdy ways to propose, but Gary Hudston has found a truly exceptional one. He created an entire Portal 2 mod to ask his girlfriend, Stephanie, to marry him. It's nice to see science being used for love - not evil.

The GLaDOS in the video sounds authentic because she is. Hudston made the level with the help of Douglas Hoogland and Rachel van der Meer (Miss Stabby), who answered a request for help with a “secret project” on thinkingwithportals.com. After they had the basics up and running, Hudston contacted Valve, and they connected him with the real voice of GLaDOS, Ellen Mclain.
