Henry, you literally said that you didnt play much of 8 or 9, much less 10 (extraordinarily overrated) OR 12 (grossly UNDERrated). Your whole stance that 6 is better than 4 just became completely invalid.
  • BALLSTOTHEWALLET - February 4, 2012 6:44 p.m.

What the hell are you taking about, 12 was like a MMORPG except you're the only player, at least 10 had a plot. Also 8 SUCKS.
  • rballa2 - February 7, 2012 9:15 p.m.

I disagree. 10 was 13 before 13 came out. First on a new console. Amazing graphics. No overworld. Weak gameplay. I replayed 8 recently. I enjoyed the gameplay a little more than I remembered, but the story was still lacking.

Man it's just not going to be the same GR without you guys around. I'll miss each of you, I only hope you all show up on laser time occasionally.

grimm was always my favourite on t-dar.
  • CrazySmurf - February 3, 2012 10:42 p.m.

I'm so confused and I don't know what to do! Please take my mind off of everything that is happening here
  • RODTheMaster - February 3, 2012 10:38 p.m.

I can't believe we're losing a group of such amazing people. If you guys read this, I'll miss all of you.
  • Asmodean - February 3, 2012 9:57 p.m.

Man this is sad.... You were all great guys, I hope you'll be back one day... :(
  • luckyseven - February 3, 2012 9:32 p.m.

I will keep supporting Talkradar but I don't have much reason to visit the site anymore.
  • Moondoggie1157 - February 3, 2012 10:35 p.m.

There are very few articles I'll be excited to read, that's for sure... Just isn't the same, quality wise most of all.
  • Hypermonkey262 - February 3, 2012 9:30 p.m.

The moment I found out about the departures from GR is probably the most depressed I'm gonna be all year. Never again will there be an ad during the breaks where the reading of the pitch is enough to make me want to buy the product while having no idea what it is. Never again will we be blessed with a Monday podcast about Pokemon, or at least one that's worth listening to. I'm consoled only by the fact that Mike Grimm keeps showing up on Laser Time.
  • DevonOO7 - February 3, 2012 9:25 p.m.

    I AM BRELSTON!
  • DualWieldingIsNotFeasible - February 3, 2012 9:25 p.m.

Four of my favorite people gone, but they decide to keep Sterling McGarvey?? Now my beloved FAPs are replaced by that dull jerkoff reading press releases over gameplay footage?? No trusted reviewers left besides Mikel, Henry, and Charlie?? Why???? Oh, wonderful TDar, take my mind off these horrible things with your dick jokes and drunken tangents!
  • D0CCON - February 3, 2012 10:43 p.m.

Apparently Future wants to be more like IGN. Hopefully they will learn that they can't beat IGN by being IGN.
  • ninjaemperor - February 3, 2012 10:50 p.m.

I wish I didn't agree with you so much.
  • I_Go_Next - February 5, 2012 3:08 a.m.

Argh... naming names is a bit mean there. I don't think it's Sterling's fault - the first time we heard him, he made out he'd hijacked TalkRadar's "studio", and then had Kratos doing Thanksgiving dinner. I do have an issue with the top-brass' obvious decision to make things more "professional" - but ignoring the fact that the fun stuff was why people come to the site. Developer Demos are mega-dull, as the GR dudes have to hold back the comments, as to not upset the software bods.

It's sadness and anger... I really wish there was something that could be done. On a lighter note though, I had forgotten how fucking amazing SoulEdge's opening song was. I'm trying to distract myself from this lay off bullshit... It's seriously fucking depressing.
  • TaserLime - February 3, 2012 8:56 p.m.

forget 9/11, the day the gr staffers fell is more worthy of the 'never forget' treatment.
