Interest in the forthcoming beta for EA Mythic's MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning has unsurprisingly been significant - the number of gamers signing up hit 200,000 in the first ten days since registration opened on May 30, and has now surpassed that figure.
Mark Jacobs, vice president and general manager of EA Mythic, has described the response as "phenomenal."
"The team has been working incredibly hard on creating a genre-defining experience, and the beta signups certainly validate the direction we're taking the game. Player input and testing will be crucial in our efforts to complete the game, and we look forward to beta participants' help in shaping Warhammer Online," Jacobs added.
You can still register for the beta test here. The test is expected to kick off next week.
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is EA Mythic's MMORPG based on Games Workshop's Warhammer fantasy universe. It's due to release in early 2008.
