PewDiePie is building an "Avengers-like talent squad"

YouTube megastar PewDiePie - or Felix Kjellberg - is playing Nick Fury to a crew of YouTubers as part of a new network called Revelmode. Already a part of the Disney owned Maker Studios, PewDiePie is recruiting a team of already well known faces including Dodger, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier as what he calls an "an Avengers-like talent squad to work and grow a business together."

Revelmode will be a network within a network, so to speak, and in the announcement video below Pewds discusses the benefits of the security, even if it does mean losing some "hipster cred." Currently Revelmode has a line up of nine successful YouTubers but will continue to grow. The channel description says that "Revelmode focuses on creating original premium content, game development, philanthropy, commercial partnerships, and merchandise for fans and future creators."

It's an interesting time for YouTube as everyone needs to make a living so the security of networks is definitely an interesting option. Plus, given the head of this particular project helms the single most subscribed channel on the planet with 41 million subs, this might just be rather huge.
