Comedy Central and Spike TV form 345 Games

The second game, due this August,is a side scrolling co-op shooter based on Comedy Central's animated show Ugly Americans (above), entitled Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon. The game will feature voice work from the series' actors, and follow an original script by the show's writers.

Both games will launch for $10 each, and bepromoted byComedy Central and Spike TV'sboth on-air and off.

"Comedy Centraland Spike TV squarely target the video game audience. Our 'Deadliest Warrior' gaming franchise exploded out of the gate last season," said Dan Yang, a senior VP with MTV Networks and 345's general manager, adding, %26ldquo;With the launch of 345 Games, we are tapping into the passionate fan base of bothComedyCentraland Spike and creating an enhanced interactive experience based on our hit shows and brands."

The concept behind Deadliest Warriors is fairly self explanatory, and familiar to the 400,000 odd players whoplayed the first game. Explaining the absurdity that is Ugly Americans without visual aids, however, is nigh impossible. But look %26ndash; a trailer! How convenient for everyone!
