When is the Destiny 2 weekly reset?

The Destiny 2 weekly reset goes live every Tuesday at 5pm UTC, changing and resetting various challenges, activities, and sometimes seeing in new content. You can always expect weekly vendor challenges to reset, new vendor stock, and activity rotations, but you should also expect plenty of new stuff for the first few weeks of Season of the Deep. And with no new Destiny 2 Power Level cap, you’ll be able to focus on dredging up new weapons and armor, and collect Exotic Engrams to perfect your builds with Exotic focusing. Here’s what you need to know about the Destiny 2 weekly reset time and what exactly gets reset in Season of the Deep.

Since the reset time is based on UTC, it means that the weekly reset time in your area will change based on your current time zone and any changes to it due to daylight savings times, if that’s something your region observes. Keep track of any changes to your time zone and remember that they’ll affect when you need to check in for the weekly reset in Destiny 2.

As a special case, Xur’s arrival with a new haul of Exotic items and Trials of Osiris are weekend activities and only become available with every Friday daily reset but will stick around until the following weekly reset on Tuesday. Obviously, Trials of Osiris challenges are inactive when Trials isn’t around, but Saint-14 can still be accessed at any time from the Tower Hangar.
