A new batch of pictures from the set of period crime drama Gangster Squad have leaked online, and from the looks of things, 1940s LA was a glamorous place to be.
It’s our first opportunity to get a look at stars Emma Stone and Sean Penn in full period costume, and they’re both looking fantastic. Stone in particular looks every inch the femme fatale, what with her flame-red hair, fur stole and jewel-studded necklace.
Penn doesn’t look too shabby either, rocking the grizzled old gangster look to perfection. Check out the images in full below.
The images follow an earlier snap of Stone sharing a picnic with Ryan Gosling, in which the Crazy Stupid Love pair rekindle their sizzling on-screen chemistry simply by sitting next to each other. Quite the feat.
