Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them video explores the American Hogwarts

We're still a few months away from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's cinematic debut, and little by little we're learning more about what's in store for the highly anticipated Harry Potter spin-off. While last week's featurette focused on Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander, the latest video uses stylish animation to show off America's school of magic, better known as the Ilvermony school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Check it out below...

In addition to the featurette, J.K. Rowling's latest Pottermore post has revealed Ilvermony's four wizarding houses - Horned Serpent, Pukwudgie, Thunderbird, and Wampus - while also going into a little more detail on the history of the American school. Just how much of Ilvermony we'll get to see in Fantastic Beasts remains to be seen, but this latest bit of info definitely has me eager to explore it.

Directed by David Yates and starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Gemma Chan, Ron Perlman, and Ezra Miller, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled to hit UK and US cinemas on November 18, 2016.
