New trailer arrives for Bridge Of Spies

A new trailer has appeared online for Bridge Of Spies, Steven Spielberg's Cold War thriller starring Tom Hanks as a lawyer attempting to negotiate the release of a US pilot shot down over Soviet airspace.

Set in 1960, the film will tell the true story of James Donovan who was drafted in to handle said negotiations during a time where US/Soviet relations were at their most tense. Needless to say, there's much more riding on the case than the simple issue of one man's freedom…

Take a look at the new trailer, below…

The new trailer plays up the spy-thriller elements of the story, as Hanks' character goes undercover in Soviet Russia as part of the mission. As an insurance lawyer by trade, it's probably fair to say he's a little out of his depth… Co-starring Mark Rylance, Amy Ryan and Sebastian Koch, with a script co-written by Matt Charman and the Coen brothers, Bridge Of Spies will open in the US on 16 October 2015 and the UK on 6 November 2015.
