A new trailer has appeared online for Barry Levinson's Rock The Kasbah, in which Bill Murray's music industry talent manager finds himself adrift in Afghanistan, after his last remaining client bails out on a proposed tour of the region.
Marooned in a strange land with neither a penny or a passport to his name, Murray happens across a young girl with a spectacular voice, and realises he might just have found his ticket home. Check out the new trailer, below… it's every bit as odd as it sounds!
Part road movie, part fish-out-of-water comedy, it certainly looks like an interesting vehicle for Murray's comic talents, while the supporting cast has a distinctly A-list flavour. Co-starring Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Bruce Willis and Scott Caan, Rock The Kasbah will open in the US on 23 October 2015. A UK date has yet to be confirmed.
