The four horsemen are back for an encore in new Now You See Me 2 trailer

Back in 2013, magician movie Now You See Me conjured $350 million off a $75 million budget, so it's no surprise that Lionsgate green-lit a sequel. We've already had one trailer (opens in new tab) for the follow-up, but with the film due out in cinemas in just three months a new promo with fresh footage (and a little more plot info) has dropped online. Check it out below...

Now You See Me was a lot of fun until it stopped making sense, and that was mostly due to its all star cast. Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Mark Ruffalo are all back for round 2, and franchise newcomers Lizzy Caplan - who replaces Isla Fisher as the lone female horseman - and Daniel Radcliffe already look to be strong additions.

The trailer doesn't give us many specifics as to how Morgan Freeman's character is pulling the strings, but with a film that's reliant on surprising the audience that's perfectly fine. I just hope that this time round I'll be more impressed the closer I look, rather than thinking "that makes no sense!"

Directed by Jon Chu and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Radcliffe, and Sanaa Lathan, Now You See Me 2 opens in US cinemas on June 10, 2016 before opening in UK cinemas almost a month later on July 4, 2016.
