I've had my eye on these Lego Harry Potter sets for ages, and they just got a big price cut for Prime Day

More than a few new Lego Harry Potter sets are enjoying a massive price cut as part of Prime Day.

To be precise, you can save on everything from a miniature Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to a replica of the Sorting Hat that actually talks. This is terrible for my self-restraint. I've often been tempted by sets like the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds, for example, and now it's £43 less than normal at Amazon as part of the Prime Day sale. I'm not 100% sure I can resist until the sale ends at midnight tonight.

While there are plenty of good Prime Day Lego deals floating around at the moment, the Wizarding World ones are some of the best I've seen. To save you a little time as well as money, here are the best offers currently at Amazon.

Lego Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall | ~~£169.99~~ £135.99 at Amazon
Save £43 - This new kit (which recreates the iconic Great Hall alongside the memorable "troll in the dungeon!" scene) has only been out for a short while, but it's already dropped to its lowest ever price as part of this year's Prime Day Lego deals.

Buy it if:
✅ You want the most iconic part of Hogwarts
✅ You adore the early films

Don't buy it if:
❌ You'd rather have all of Hogwarts

Price check:
💲 Very | £135.99
💲 Lego | £169.99

Lego Hogwarts Castle and Grounds | ~~£149.99~~ £105.99 at Very
Save £43 - Here's an example of why you shouldn't just stick with Amazon during Prime Day. This newer spin on the wizarding school rarely drops so low in price, and it's actually not been cheaper since Black Friday last year.

Buy it if:
✅ You want an awesome but small display piece
✅ You can't afford or fit in the massive version

Don't buy it if:
❌ You're happy to wait for a discount on Black Friday

Price check:
💲 Amazon | £106.86
💲 Lego | £149.99

I've been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, but these days you'll find me managing GamesRadar+'s tabletop gaming and toy coverage (I spend my time here handling everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news). I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
