30 Lego sets under $30: I searched through the Prime Day sales to bring you the best cheap Lego kits
Harry Potter, Star Wars, Creator, City and more
As any Lego collector knows, the bricks aren't cheap, and with new sets constantly pushing into the $400s, $500s, $600s, and beyond, it takes a certain Prime Day to remind us that you can pick up kits for pretty cheap too. To reinforce the point, I've found 30 sets that now cost under $30, all of which have been reduced for Prime Day (until, at least for many of them, the end of today).
I've got Star Wars, Harry Potter, Minecraft, Friends, Speed Champions, Botanicals, Creator 3 in 1 — a lot of Creator 3 in 1 actually — and more. They're all listed in price order, by reduced price, starting from the most affordable Lego sets and running up to that $30 barrier. And naturally I've omitted deals which weren't very good, whether it's because we've seen it go for much cheaper, or because the set is always discounted.
Under $10
You get three cute builds for the price of one with this low-cost set: a turtle and water lily, a frog, and a chameleon, with the same bricks making all three. At just $8, this is one of the cheapest Lego sets worth buying in the sales.

Not a fan of cute animals? This space-themed 3-in-1 set is a great alternative, letting you build a space shuttle, astronaut or spaceship with the same bricks. It has gone cheaper before, by $1.60, but $8 is still a great price.

The decorative Lego Botanicals Daisies set has never gone cheaper than this before; it's part of the brand's popular decorative range, and at under $10, it's a nice affordable buy.

Not to be confused with the retired Hogwarts Moments: Charms Class set, this build has just been dropped to its lowest price. That's great news for anyone who's embarked upon the mission of collecting all the Hogwarts kits.

Now down to its lowest price is this Minecraft pig set, featuring... lots of pigs. This big discount doesn't mean the rest of the series are getting significant price cuts, though... it's a porcine of that!

Technically, this reduction on a Lego City burger truck began just ahead of Prime Day. However this is still the cheapest we've seen on this set, which is a little different from the standard Lego City fare.

This Creator 3 in 1 set has a more succinct theme than many, and if you know a dino fan, it's a great option. It's down to its lowest-ever price and, unlike some other Creator sets, seems to be making its foray into that price point.

Plenty of Lego's Speed Champions F1 sets are on offer, but this discount is the best, bringing the Ferrari SF-24 vehicle down to its lowest-ever price for the first time.

Another Lego Creator 3 in 1 deal here — they do seem to be stalwarts of Prime Day — on this colorful parrot, frog and fish build. It's only $0.03 off its lowest-ever price, though it's no stranger to discounts.

Another vehicle build for the same price, this Lego City 4x4 build briefly dipped cheaper by $3 earlier in the year, but otherwise this is the cheapest price we've seen it sell for.

If you chickened out of the previous Lego Minecraft deal, this Chicken Farm set will offer you a greater variety of animals (though, of course, there are also chickens, and a chicken jockey). It's never sold for less than this, but this isn't actually a new discount for Prime Day.

Calling this a Lego City set may be curious, but calling it a good deal isn't: the set's discount means it's almost at its lowest-ever price (it was $0.04 less last year).

One of the biggest percentage reductions on any Lego set of this list comes from this older One Piece set, which is quite a bit cheaper than its previous lowest price. I imagine stock will be limited on this one.

The first of our two Lego Star Wars discounts hails from Ahsoka, with this Death Trooper & Night Trooper pack. It's down to within $0.04 of its lowest-ever price, from Black Friday last year.

A rare Spider-Man 3 set here, which depicts one of the movie's many superhero showdowns. The set is currently available at its lowest price, though it's sold at this cost before.

Franchise Lego sets rarely go for cheap, and a 30% discount like this one is pretty rare in the Lego world. Technically we've seen it for $1 cheaper, but it's still a great buy at this price, filling up your clone trooper or droid ranks.

I feel like I don't often see Lego Friends sets discounted during Prime Days, making this a worthy deal at the best of times. However it's also $3 cheaper than its lowest previous price.

If you want value for your bricks (and freedom to build what you want), the Lego Classic sets are where to look, and now the Medium box is below $30. This isn't the cheapest we've seen the set go for, but it's the only option for people who don't want a specific build.

Yes, that's the real title for this Back to the Future DeLorean set. We've seen it go $0.20 cheaper in past sales, but that's basically just a rounding error.

For the Technic-inclined, this 333-piece bush plane set is only a few cents off its past lowest price. Given how Technic is quite a different premise to standard Lego, it's a great option for people who like a more involved build.

If you don't want the happy-go-lucky plants shown in discounts below, perhaps this refined chrysanthemum is the one for you. It's down to the lowest price point we've seen it at.

One of the more complex Lego Creator 3 in 1 sets to fall under the $30 price threshold is this wild animals set, which transforms between a hummingbird, butterfly or fish. It's certainly a colorful set, hence the name, and it's also at the cheapest we've ever seen it.

A new discount brings this Horizon: Zero Dawn set (well, technically a Lego Horizon Adventures set) down to its lowest-ever price. A substantial 40% discount brings this under the border for our $30 cut-off.

This Lego Winnie The Pooh set has returned to its lowest-ever price, with a 30% discount. Is it worth it for the cute Piglet minifigure alone? Possibly not, but it's still an adorable part of the build, and thankfully there are other parts.

And now for a Ninjago set, but a relatively new one. Not only is this 30% reduction the best price we've seen on the set, but as far as I can tell, it's the only discount it's seen so far.

Squeaking under the border, we have this Lego Super Mario Kart build. Technically it's part of the Mario Kart interactive race series, but it functions just as well as a buildable toy with some extras. This is a new low price on a set which hasn't seen huge discounts before.
