New trailer for Sundance hit Me And Earl And The Dying Girl

A new trailer has appeared online for Sundance sensation Me And Earl And The Dying Girl, in which Thomas Mann’s movie-obsessed high-schooler finds himself hanging out with a classmate (Olivia Cooke) who has just been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Initially forced into this companionship by his parents, Mann soon comes to find himself bonding with Cooke, as he and his friend Earl attempt to raise her spirits from what’s essentially a thoroughly bleak situation. Get ready for all the feels…

This new trailer does a good job of communicating the film’s emotional heft, while also working in some pretty chucklesome gags on the side. That limo driver in particular looks like he plans to make off with every scene he can…

Directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon and co-starring RJ Cyler, Nick Offerman and Connie Britton, Me And Earl And The Dying Girl will open in the US on 12 June 2015 and the UK on 11 September 2015.
