Captain America's Facebook video teases the end of a beautiful friendship

Captain America and Iron Man's friendship status is on the rocks.

Not to be outdone by Deadpool's ingenious marketing campaign, Marvel have put a hilarious spin on Facebook's #FriendsDay feature to promote Captain America: Civil War. The video starts off with pictures of Steve Rogers' best buds, before getting decidedly more awkward. Check it out below...

While being a funny, timely promo in its own right, the video also underlines the conflict between the two popular heroes, whose clashing beliefs will force the Avengers to pick a side. Will true friendship conquer all, or will they all block each other? Either way, it's a fantastic piece of marketing.

Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: Civil War opens in UK cinemas on April 29, 2016 and May 6, 2016 in the US.
