Justice League progress may depend on Man Of Steel

There has been plenty of speculation as to how Warner Bros’ planned Justice League movie might take shape and which superheroes might be involved, but despite all the web chatter, such predictions could yet be a mite premature.

According to Variety (via SuperheroHype ), Warner is still keen on bringing a Justice League movie to cinemas in 2015, but are waiting to see how Man Of Steel performs before giving the project the green light.

Will Beall is currently hard at work on a script for the potential super-team adventure, but no director has been confirmed as yet, and that’s likely to stay the case until Zack Snyder’s film lands this summer.

Despite the success of Christopher Nolan’s Bat-films, Warner has a fairly shaky record in getting the best out of its DC properties, and is understandably cautious over ploughing money into what would undoubtedly be a hugely expensive endeavour.

All eyes on Krypton’s favourite son then, with Man Of Steel set to swoop into UK cinemas on 14 June 2013. No pressure there, Supes…
