Matt Reeves To Adapt Eight O’Clock In The Morning
Cloverfield and Let Me In director Matt Reeves is set to adapt Ray Nelson’s short story Eight O’Clock In The Morning , which was also the inspiration for John Carpenter’s They Live . It’s the story of a man who begins the see an alien invasion taking place that is invisible to everybody else. According to Deadline , we shouldn’t think of the new film as a remake. “Carpenter took a satirical view of the material,” says Reeves, “and the larger political implication that we’re being controlled. I am very drawn to the emotional side, the nightmare experience with the paranoia of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers or a Roman Polanski-style film.”

Battle Of The Merlins
Camelot ’s audience fell by 23 per cent to 850,000 viewers for its third Stateside episode, which is still a decent figure for Starz, but a worrying trend. On the other had, Merlin ’s third season finished with a an all-time high viewing figure for the show on Syfy – 1.9 million (that’s an incredibly good figure for Syfy).

Lindelof Declares Fued
Seems producer/writer Damon Lindelof has taken exception to George RR Martins comments last week about his disappointment with the final episode of Lost . “What if I do a Lost ?” said the Game Of Thrones writer, contemplating how he was going to end his book series. “Then they'll come after me with pitchforks and torches.” Lindelof responded by in a series of tweets : "George RR Martin is terrified of 'pulling a LOST' by ending Game of Thrones s***tily. In related news, my therapist just hit the jackpot ... George? You got yourself a feud, motherf---er... I've just been informed George is working on his feud response. I'll have it in FIVE YEARS!... trust me, he knows he's in a feud... I don't take issue with his opinion, I take issue with the fact that he coined 'Pulling a LOST' as empirically 'f---ing up the ending.” Seems Martin may have touched a raw nerve… UPDATE: Jut to make clarify matters… Lindelof was being tongue in cheek
