There was a time when you had room to swing several cats around the wide world of web without hitting a promotional opening sequence for a movie but these days you couldn’t even dangle a kitten with all the “first five minutes!” and “the bit where the dog kicks the guy in the groin!” announcements.
Following yesterday’s Aliens Vs Predator sneak, the latest chunk o’ cinema to venture online is the opening credits for Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street.
Unlike the slice of extraterrestrial madness, the Todd footage doesn’t show anything from the movie itself; it’s merely the superbly ghoulish and gory animation that Burton has chosen to open the movie, set to Todd’s theme (albeit minus the lyrics ).
Don’t know about you, but we could murder a meat pie right about now…
