Steve Martin joins Nancy Meyers' latest

Steve Martin is joining the cast of writer-director Nancy Meyers' new untitled comedy, which already features Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin.

Meyers' film finds Baldwin and Martin competing for Keaton's affections. And it's the first time that Martin has worked with Meyers since the second Father Of The Bride comedy in 1995, reports Variety.

Martin seems to be fond of re-teaming with old colleagues at the moment. He's also been linked to Diane Keaton for a film idea he's written called Zero To Sixty, which finds the pair as an aging couple.

Pink Panther

Next up, however, Martin will be seen returning to his role as Inspector Clouseau for the new Pink Panther film, and he's about to start work on a remake of the 1937 Cary Grant-starring ghost comedy Topper with director Adam Shankman.

Martin and Meyers back together? It could be Father Of The Bride all over again! Or, you know, Father Of The Bride Part II.
