Simon Pegg commends Tom Cruises fearless stunts

Mission Impossible

Simon Pegg this week appeared on that staple of squawky daytime TV Loose Women , and talked about his experiences shooting the fourth Mission: Impossible movie.

Which mostly consisted of bigging up Hollywood pal Tom Cruise, who we all last saw dangling off Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai for a death-defying stunt.

“I was there watching him doing it, which was terrifying, because it was like being in a plane,” effuses Pegg.

“[ It was at the ] top of the building. It's extraordinary, and he has no fear. He just looked out and looked back in with a big smile on his face, like, ‘Here we go!’ And he was running round the side.”

Pegg has reprised his role of IMF Technician Benji Dunn in the fourth Mission: Impossible film, having also made a memorable appearance in 2006’s Mission: Impossible III.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol opens 16 December, 2011.
